PEGASE ESTACA, getting involved in an association to introduce children to science
The PÉGASE association (Projet d'Éveil Général aux Activités Scientifiques à l'École) introduces children to science through simple, fun experiments.
PÉGASE Paris-Saclay takes part every week in classes from CE1 to CM2. Students also visit the Bullion pediatric and rehabilitation hospital every two weeks.
On Campus Ouest, the association teaches science in elementary school, in a high school and to sick children at the Laval hospital.
Since 2001, a Senegalese branch of PÉGASE has been working in the local college. Every year, a humanitarian trip is organized. For two weeks, PEGASE members bring science to secondary schools in the towns of Diourbel and Ngoundiane.
On the same principle, PEGASE travels to Cameroon, where students visit over 15 public and private schools to share their passion for science and contribute as much as possible to the development of education in the region.
The association also takes part in events such as the Fête de la Science, the Robotics Trophies and Sustainable Development Day.
