MEKA Karting Grand Prix

On Sunday March 30, the MEKA association organized its first Karting Grand Prix on Laval's Circuit Beausoleil. Open to all ESTACA students, as well as to partner companies, this competition gave participants, most of whom are future automotive engineers, the opportunity to get together around a single passion: motorsport.

MEKA was supported by 7 partner companies (My Beers, Monbana Laval, Cargomatic, Groupe Alysia, Drapeau DEJEAN, Acgl Conseil and SMI conseil). The association was also pleased to welcome 2 teams for Groupe Alysia and 1 for Cargomatic. A total of 28 teams took part in the event.

Other ESTACA associations were also on hand. Roue Libre, Mototech, ITD, the ESTACARS project, PEGASE, Estacaide and IDrogen all had exhibition stands. The program included demonstrations of the associations' vehicles on wheels, fun activities, catering and, above all, a convivial atmosphere.

As MEKA is keen to promote links between companies and students, 130 people, including around 15 professionals, took advantage of this convivial day for the pleasure of motor sport, but also to exchange ideas. A real opportunity for all concerned.
