On October 4,PEGASE, represented by its president Timothée Cappe, received the Student Initiative Award at the Your Future Awards ceremony at the Parc des Princes.
An association that makes science fun
PEGASE was rewarded for its involvement in popularizing science among young people. The students involved work in elementary school, with hospitalized children and also in community centers, at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, in Senegal and Cameroon. The association's aim is to awaken children's curiosity, inspire them to take up scientific studies and combat stereotypes, particularly by encouraging young girls to take up scientific careers.
A first edition for the Your Future Awards
The aim of the Your Future Awards was to recognize the best schools of the year. For this first edition, 150 schools applied in 5 categories: educational project, publicity stunt, student association initiative, opening of new courses and international partnership. A jury of experts then voted and selected the four nominees in each category. The public also had the opportunity to vote and make the difference: 7,000 votes were cast.
Well done to the entire PEGASE team for their actions and involvement!
