The 2023 Business Forums were held at our Paris-Saclay and Laval sites. Organized every year, they are aimed primarily at 4th and 5th year students from the 3 campuses. Over 350 company representatives were on hand to present their expertise, career opportunities and internships: start-ups, SMEs, major groups, human resources professionals, technical executives, alumni, French and international companies....
All transport sectors were represented: aeronautics, automotive, rail, space and naval.

A unique opportunity for students to meet new people and discover professional opportunities

Business forums provide an opportunity to meet professionals from different sectors, make contacts, network and get advice. They provide direct access to internships and job opportunities, and facilitate the recruitment process. It's also a privileged place for exchanges with professionals and industrialists to better understand market requirements, grasp the different professions and learn about emerging trends in their field of study. Here's what students remember about the event:

Julie - 5A aeronautics student at Paris-Saclay
"Through this day, I was looking to confirm my career plans, talk to companies, find out about jobs and position myself for internship opportunities. The forum more than met my expectations!"

Jules - 4A student in Bordeaux
"It's a fantastic opportunity to discover different fields of activity and professions. I'm looking for an internship, so I made the most of the day to exchange ideas and submit CVs to companies."

Nicolas - 5A student in Laval
"This forum gives us access to detailed job offers, contacts and direct access to professionals for information. There are even internship offers abroad!"

Hugo - 5A student at Paris-Saclay
"It's fabulous to have all these professionals and companies on site at the school. I can discover all the industrial sectors and their technological developments."

An opportunity for companies to meet future engineers for recruitment

The forums are an opportunity for our partners to make themselves known to students, attract candidates and find the profiles they are looking for initially as trainees, with a view to possible future recruitment. Here are just a few of the professionals present:

Fabien Dall'ara, class of 2005, Technical Director of the Spark racing team:
"Our company, founded by Frédéric Vasseur, an alumni, is expanding and growing fast. We're looking for future employees and interns. Young people with a passion for ESTACA are perfect profiles for us, as we know they'll integrate easily and progress very quickly!"

Océane Khoury, class of 2020, Junior Bid Manager at Colas Rail
"I'm very grateful for the training I received at ESTACA, and I like to introduce my company to students to make them want to join us, by offering them a variety of internships and opportunities throughout France and abroad."

And scientific cooperation

Bertrand Bardebette, Head of ESTACA'LAB's Valorization Department, explains.
"These days are also an opportunity to encourage scientific and technical cooperation, and to create partnerships with companies in the field of innovation development, upstream of industrialization, based on applied research. The idea is to make the link between companies' development issues and the skills that ESTACA can provide to meet them."

Thank you to all the Alumni who took part!

Love it
