4 graduates rewarded at the ESTACA trophies

The graduation ceremony was also an opportunity to award ESTACA trophies to graduates who have made a lasting impression during their time at the school, inthree categories : Community Involvement, Environmental and Social Involvement, and School Outreach.

1/ Community involvement category

  • Bastien Conti, a graduate of the aeronautical industry, has been a very active president of the FAE (Fédération des Activités Associatives). For example, he was instrumental in setting up Laval's new "pépinière" (associative premises), and in the overall coordination of associations. He has always been keen to promote associations, even from a distance during covid periods. He helped set up activities to keep the associations connected and energized, for example by hosting instagram lives on the ESTACA account with the associations.
  • Jérémy Severin, a graduate of the rail industry, has been very active in several associations: BDE, Guided Ways, RHEA (Rassemblement pour l'Humain, l'Environnement et l'Avenir), helping to welcome new students and raise awareness of gender-based violence. Above all, he and 2 fellow students from the railways branch were behind the creation of Popy Leplot, an entertainment channel designed to bring the world of railways to as many people as possible via video, combining humor and education.

2/ Environmental and Social Commitment category

  • Angèle Minet, a graduate of the space industry, has been heavily involved in initiatives to encourage young girls to take up scientific and technical careers (she was godmother to a second-year student as part of the mentoring scheme launched by UIMM in Mayenne). Today, she is a Mentor for Chemins d'Avenir, an association that supports and promotes the success of young people in rural areas and small towns, encouraging them to find their way and guiding them in their studies. She also has a brilliant academic record, with a double Master's degree in Astronomy and Planetary Sciences from the Paris Observatory.

3/ School outreach category

  • Elodie Brunot, an aeronautics graduate, is a former president of the Cercle Aéronautique ESTACA. But above all, she has become a social networking figure since she created her Passion Aero channel during the Covid, with the aim of sharing her passion with young people, and presenting aeronautical professions and the associated educational pathways. Every Wednesday, she interviewed aviation professionals live on Instagram. These events are increasingly popular with young people looking for information on careers in the aerospace industry. The company's reputation has quickly grown, enabling it to carve out a place for itself in the world of French aeronautics, to the point where it is increasingly invited to key industry events. Last year, for example, she boarded an NH90 Caiman helicopter for the July 14th ceremony. Her personal commitment on social networks earned her the title of Aerobuzz Aeronautical Personality 2021.

Love it
