Trophées des Femes de l'Industrie - Alumni wins award
Julie LESPAGNOL class of 2015, was awarded the Woman of Innovation prize as part of the Trophée des Femmes de l'Industrie. With the theme "Opening up the fields of the possible beyond society's boxes", demonstrating how the skills of motorsports and space can be transferred in both directions to offer new methods of innovation.
Graduating from the Auto stream in 2015, she began her career in motorsport, where she flourished as a performance engineer for major manufacturers at international level, then as chief engineer to manage the project for the first exceptional electric car for Hyundai Motorsport GmbH.
After 7 years in motorsport, Julie decided to explore a new path and resumed her studies at the Master In Space Studies. She graduated with a thesis proposing a multi-platform rover using automotive technologies and motorsport operations. She has now joined Airbus Defence and Space as a mission operations and risk management architect.
At the same time, she is also involved in the teaching team of ESTACA's Motorsport Performance Post Master Degree, helping to develop the program.
