ESTACA President's 2025 wish letter

Dear Alumni,

On behalf of the ESTACA Board of Governors, I wish you all the best for 2025!

At the start of this new year, I would like to express my most sincere thanks for your support and involvement throughout 2024. Many of you have invested your time and energy in the School, either as volunteers at events or as sponsors for students. I'd particularly like to thank the members of the new ESTACA Alumni Board, who have made a significant contribution to the development of our network.

The year 2024 will mainly have been spent preparing for and securing the audit by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieurs (CTI) for our Engineering degree and for our new apprenticeship degree in Aeronautics. It was also the year of the audit by the Haut Conseil de l'Evaluation et de la Recherche et de l'Enseignement Supérieur (Hcéres) for our accreditation as a research unit. Both audits went well, and the rapporteurs' feedback was positive. We will receive the results and conclusions of both audits in early 2025.

2024 was also marked by key milestones for our development, with the opening of the extension to our Laval campus in September 2024 and the signing of the lease for our new building near Bordeaux station, in the Belvédère district.

Our ambition remains to make ESTACA the benchmark engineering school with an international reputation in all areas of transport and sustainable mobility.

Your support is essential. Join us in carrying out projects, or support us by joining the ESTACA association. Your continued involvement and commitment are fundamental pillars of our collective success. I would also like to thank the alumni community, who have generously responded to the various campaigns of the Endowment Fund.

This year, 2025, marks the centenary of our wonderful institution, an opportunity to reunite, bring together our partners and federate our entire community. The story goes on, and every year ESTACA gains in attractiveness and recognition!

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Annual General Meeting 2025 on January 30, for the first event of this emblematic year.
