Alumni Gala - ESO Association

ESO is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion we're throwing a Gala! You'll find information about the event below.

With health restrictions now relaxed, we're planning to hold the ESO GALA on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 7pm to 11pm at ESTACA, Campus Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

We are organizing a round table with 4 speakers from different backgrounds on the theme of "The return of manned flights to the moon" for 1h30 from 7:30pm to 9pm. We'd like to invite as many ESO and ESTACA alumni as possible.

The Gala will be followed by a number of guests representing the main sectors of the French space industry and major players in French NewSpace.

Below is a summary of the evening's proceedings:

- 7:00pm-7:30pm: Presentation of the association's main program: the Estaca Space Launcher.

- 7.30pm-9pm: Round table discussion on the theme of "The return of manned flights to the moon" , with news space players from ESA, CNES, Ariane and Latitude (formerly VSO).

- From 9:00 pm: Buffet dinner with a caterer, and discovery of the stands (ESO Projects / 3i3s Association / Partners).

We ask for a contribution of 5 euros to cover the costs of this event.
