Career Evening: Giving meaning to your career / Opportunities in cross-functional professions

Evening format

• conference starts at 6:30 pm, Tuesday December 4
• public: alumni and students
• one-hour / one-and-a-half-hour ^conference1 by alumni and Le Réseau Primaveras association (¹ depending on the number of alumni present),
• followed by an informal drink.

Alumni presentation

Round-table discussion led by several alumni on the theme: "Cross-disciplinary professions outside engineering".

• 10 minutes each
• Presentation of their career paths,
• Feedback on cross-disciplinary fields: program management, purchasing, quality, finance, oil & gas.
• Employment prospects.

Participation of the PRIMAVERAS association

Laurent Polet, co-founder of Primaveras and professor at CentraleSupélec, will share his views on changes in career development and professions, to illustrate the alumni testimonials. He will present the keys to making the right choices in one's professional life, illustrating in particular the challenges of mobility for tomorrow's engineers.

The PRIMAVERAS association, which supports employees with two programs:

- l'Accélérateur: a program to reorient talented people in search of employment and meaning,

- l'Emulateur: a CPF-eligible certification program to develop the career agility of existing talent.

As part of the Estaca Alumni / Primaveras Network partnership, alumni who are wondering about their careers have privileged access to the last available places on the Emulator before the end of 2018, and will be able to take full advantage of their CPF before the reform of the individual right to training is implemented!

This evening will open a cycle of conferences, offered to students, in which alumni will testify to perspectives in four "cross-disciplinary" fields :

- Jan 29, 2019 : Supply chain

- Feb 5, 2019: Innovation

- Feb 12 2019 : Finance

- to be determined : Purchasing, Marketing, Oil & gas
